Clarity is an incredibly talented writer of emotional and sensual stories. This short story is a beautiful tale of poly love but above all, of love between a married couple who chooses the way of communication and mutual respect. Eric and Maya work together to make it work, and Logan makes it come true. Taking a Lover is romantic and sensual, a highly recommended read!

Taking A Lover brings about the idea of a polyamorous relationship as Maya looks to convince her husband of ten years, Eric, to enjoy the thrills and test the waters with an additional third partner, Logan.

The story itself is a quick read, taking me only 20-mins. to complete—and yet it dives the readers into a compelling, complex, and entirely different love story... something I have yet to find on the bookshelves.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series as they are released.

This is a beautifully written, sexy and respectful take on a healthy approach to a poly relationship that does not sacrifice all the hot steaminess. Townsend strikes a delicate balance between the physical and emotional that makes the scenes all the more engaging. I'm definitely looking forward to more from the series!
