Clarity Townsend is a wonderful author. I've read a few of her works now, and I appreciate the knack she has for developing multi-dimensional characters and engrossing stories. Faded Dreams was no exception.

If you enjoy vampire romances, Faded Dreams will satisfy your bloodlust. With a dazzling splattering of hot scenes, a good fight, and vampires that are strong, fast, and powerful but do not sparkle in the sunlight, this story is not to be missed.

Gaia, Mads, Quin, and Bash made for a great read. It was lovely to see the relationship development between the humans and the vampires, and also the parallel friendship growth between them. Faded Dreams feels like a complete novel in and of itself, but the ending and some unresolved issues hint that there will be more, which I am totally down for. I don't want to drop any spoilers, but I am eagerly anticipating the sequel so I can learn more about how the intrigue and action in the first book will lead to what comes next.

One of the most amazing stories I have read in a long time. I couldn't put this book down. I loved the twists and turns. I loved all the characters, even the loser one. And I loved the descriptions of emotion, vampire rituals, turning, the whole thing. Beautifully written and a book I am keeping on my E-reader so I can read it again and again.

First thing I want to say about Faded Dreams: if I can't put a book down, it is a good sign. I started reading this book yesterday (August 14th), and finished it this morning (August 15th). When I read a good story like this one, and I have to remember to do my chores around the house, the author did a pretty good job.

The story is well written and pleasant to read. This story is detailed to a point that I felt that I was watching it on a screen. All the characters are lovable, even the bad ones to a certain point. I did not mind the strong language or explicit scenes; this is what I like about this type of story and one of the reason I read it.

Do I recommend this story? Hell yes!

Now I really, really, hope that this is not the only book and there will be a sequel to this. I fell in love with the author's way of writing and with this story.
